Plogging Around the Neighborhood

Williams Subaru joined our friends from NoDa Run Club & Around the Crown 10K to help support their March 2020 Plogging event efforts. What’s plogging you ask? Plogging is a really fun word to describe a really fun activity! It combines jogging with picking up litter. That’s right, while getting a little run in you can also clean up the streets at the same time! On this fun night in early March, over 300 runners took to the streets, picking up trash while jogging.

Serving Neighbors in Need with Common Heart

Common Heart is an amazing 501(c)(3) in our neighboring community of Indian Trail, NC. They feed over 26,000 hungry families in need annually through their weekly and mobile food pantries. Williams Subaru was thrilled to participate in the 9th annual Queen City Brewer’s Festival for the 3rd year in a row. Williams Subaru helped make a visual connection to the event’s beneficiary, ACEing Autism. The goal of QCBF each year is to harness the interest and excitement around the Charlotte brewery community and channel that attention and impact to the autism community. ACEing Autism connects kids through tennis and is currently serving more than 1,300 children with autism across 69 locations nationwide.
