Williams Subaru had a great time volunteering with our friends at Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina this week. Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina is our region's distribution warehouse that supplies food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in our community in need. They are a massive organization, serving 19 counties in North Carolina.

Williams Subaru has selected Second Harvest Food Bank Metrolina as our Share the Love hometown charity for 2 years in a row. Through our Share the Love initiative we have donated over $40,000 to our friends at SHFBM. In addition to monetary donations, throughout the year we also donate our time.

This Tuesday we spent 3 hours in their warehouse helping to sort donations provided from CVS pharmacy. CVS donates ancillary products such as medications, diapers, and medical equipment to SHFBM for distribution to various partner agencies. The products come in to the warehouse in mixed packages, so SHFBM relies heavily on volunteers to unpack the donations, and sort them accordingly. We had a great time unpacking supplies and sorting them throughout the warehouse! We're proud to be a regular volunteer partner who helps SHFBM continue to serve our community!

Our dealership employee attendees included: Ward Williams (Dealer Principal & Owner), Mike Melton (Service & Parts Director), Lena Daproza (BDC Manager), Chris Walker (Master Technician), Kate Downing (Director of Marketing).
